Introduction

This article shows you how to customise the way data information and images appear on the View Data pages. You can set default settings to match your device's specs and your own preferences.

The Viewing Limits panel has seven settings. Each one is describe below.

1.  Opening the viewing limits panel

  1. On the dashboard, click SETTINGS. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Click Settings. The Settings page displays.

  3. Click Viewing Limits on the top menu.

2.  Selecting number of lines

Set the default number of lines (or table rows) that display on the View Data table.

  1. Click the field beside the tool name. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Select a figure on the menu.

  3. Click Save.

  • Note: If you have an older machine with a slow processor, selecting a low number can improve loading speed.

3.  Cropping titles

Change the number of characters displayed in the product title before the text is cropped. This feature changes both Title and Amazon Title.

The larger the number, the deeper the column on the View data page. To minimize tables getting bloated with larger titles you may select a small number (e.g. 60 characters).

  1. Click the field beside the tool name. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Select a figure on the menu.

  3. Click Save.

4.  Setting width of title column

Set the width of the Title column. In most cases, auto width might be the best solution. If you want to improve readability (and have a wide monitor), a wider width (e.g. 200 px) is a good choice.

  1. Click the field beside the tool name. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Select a figure on the menu.

  3. Click Save.

5.  Setting width of note column

Set the width of the Note column. In most cases, auto might be the best solution. If you want to improve readability on a large monitor, a wider width (e.g. 200 px) is a good choice.

  1. Click the field beside the tool name. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Select a figure on the menu.

  3. Click Save.

6.  Setting default image size

Set the default size of product images that display in the View Data table.

  • Note: Whatever image size you select here, you can see a large image when you hover the mouse on a product image in the View Data table.

  1. Click the field beside the tool name. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Select a size on the menu.

  3. Click Save.

7.  Cropping product notes

Change the number of characters displayed in the product note column before the text is cropped. The larger the number, the more text displayed before cropping.

  1. Click the field beside the tool name. A drop-down menu displays.

  2. Select a figure on the menu.

  3. Click Save.

8.  Showing days range in Keepa chart
